Many of our customers ask us "what exactly is art?" and this is the answer that the employees here at SIMA Art Gallery have come up with:

Art is a form of expression. It is a way of expressing ones true feelings and desires. Art can be abstract or realistic, there are not set rules! It is hard to give someone a definition of art because everybody has a different perception. Their perception depends on their background, their culture, and their preferences. Art also comes in many different forms, it can come in photographs, sculptures, human bodies, even rubbish! The artist uses different colors and techniques to portray the mood of the art work and to get the message of the art across to the viewer. SIMA Art Gallery supports the quote: "This is art, if you want it to be" from Apartamento magazine because that is what we truly believe!
